Using Canva (A Beginners Guide) - Online

A Small Business Development Corporation workshop.

Get to grips with Canva; a comprehensive, easy-to-follow workshop for beginners.

We all know that using Canva to create our business visuals (business cards, social media posts, flyers etc) is one of the easiest wins when running a small business. If you’re struggling to really get to grips with it, and get the most out of this incredible, home-grown program, come and join us for this recorded workshop.

We’ll be going right back to basics and then building from there. Most people who join this workshop rate themselves as a 0-2 / 5 at the beginning, so you’ll be able to build your confidence along side a small group of who are all in the same boat. We’ll go through:

  • The key differences between the free and pro versions

  • How to find everything, the Canva layout and how to include your own images in your designs

  • Which templates to choose, and how make the most of their built-in designs

  • How to add graphics, shapes, photos and videos

  • How to create movement - gifs and videos

  • How to download your designs, share them with others, and save them to your own files

  • How to post your designs directly onto social media

This workshop will be recorded and available to those who sign up for a week afterwards.

This workshop will be delivered online and is available for only $20, thanks to funding from the Small Business Development Corporation and the Government of Western Australia. For free advice and guidance on starting and growing your business, and details of all their workshops visit smallbusiness.wa.gov.au
